God Eater Online, GEO Launched

I know the PSP underground have been waiting for the God Eater Online mod. The game mod, also known as GEO, is now up and running and is housed by the Celes Network. It's a paid hosting service which allows you to, with the help of Wi-Fi, link and play with other players worldwide. Further details below:

* What is God Eater Online? [GEO]
It's a online service housed by Celes Network which turns your copy of God Eater JPN [ULJS00237] into a fully fledged online game, comparable to Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 or other Infrastructure Titles.

* How to play?
Download the attached client plugin, copy geo.prx, geouser.prx and geoconfig.txt to your seplugins folder, activate geo.prx in game.txt and update geoconfig.txt with your CN VIP forum login data.

Furthermore, configure your Router to Port Forward the following UDP Ports to your PSP IP: 3000, 3100, 3101, or assign your PSP IP as DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), otherwise you will have trouble connecting to other Players.

Every time you start God Eater now, the setting of your WLAN Switch will decide whether you play on Celes Network or offline (normal adhoc).

WLAN Switch ON while starting: Online Mode
WLAN Switch OFF while starting: Offline Mode

Now just go into Multiplayer Mode and all you do will be online!

* How to become a CN VIP?
VIP Status is given to all our supporters that help covering our server costs by donating.

When a 5€ minimum donation is provided via the Donate option on the top right of our forums you will be assigned VIP status automatically.

Should you have issued several small donations summing up to 5€ atleast, please contact me or Saiks via PM and we will assign VIP status manually after checking your donation.

* Rules of Operation
Every action you take please take them with some common sense applied.

We aren't your babysitters and shouldn't have to keep watch of you guys 24/7 just so you guys don't do anything stupid.

However, the usual rules apply... be nice to each other playing online, no racism, no hacking, cheating, etc.

Ignoring of the obvious rules will be punished with up to three warnings depending on severity of the case and / or bans.

* Known Issues
When connecting or authorization fails in Online Mode your PSP will blackscreen and crash.

No permanent damage done however, just restart it.

I know you're thinking "Paid service? No way!" right now. Don't worry. Coldbird said that all the money they'll earn from this service will go to maintenance and server costs. After all, they won't pay server costs from their own money. What, you think it's for free?

'Till my next installment.
