Blizzard's StarCraft II Patch Download Update

Blizzard released the first patch for their latest SC sci-fi RTS sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. The latest patch update, now available for download via the game's auto updater, fixes a couple of technical issues and some server-side optimizations.

Says Blizzard:

Our first patch for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is now live. This small patch addresses a few technical issues and makes some server-side optimizations; however, there are a couple of changes worth mentioning which are detailed in the official patch notes below.

• Bug Fixes
  • Campaign saves have been optimized.
  • Fixed an issue with sound not playing on some 7.1 systems.
