How to Change EA Persona Username for EA Games

So maybe you're asking "How can I change my EA Persona into a better sounding one because I named my current Battlefield 3 Persona crap?" Well, I found a trick on how to change your EA Persona (username). It's quite simple when I learned of it actually.

Thinking back, I really didn't understand those ragenamechangers who are bashing EA because they can't change their EA Personas. Then again, maybe the "clueless" EA tech support are partly to blame. Anyway, proceed below to learn how to change your EA Persona:

How to Change EA Persona Username for EA Games

1. Log-in your EA account;

2. Go to the EA Account Manager: Personal Details tab (https://profiles.ea.com/myprofile.do);

3. Once there, scroll down, select an EA Persona, and change it to your desired new Persona name.


Congratulations! You've successfully changed your EA Persona. Unfortunately though, this technique does not work on all EA games for some actually use your master account name. So for example, if you're playing Darkspore and you changed a Persona, it won't reflect inside the game because Darkspore recognizes only your master account name.

If you really do want to change your EA master account name though, it's doable, but you'll have to grind through 2 layers of EA tech support for 5 hours tops. Just keep asking them to change your name even if they tell you they can't do it, because somebody can and eventually you will be able to talk to that person if you keep your cool and maintain politeness all the time.
