“You’re Either Nexus…Or Against Us”.
The Nexus have taken WWE by the throat over the last several months and come Survivor Series there’s a chance they’ll inflict the company with its biggest scar yet if John Cena does indeed get himself fired. Either way, Nexus are about to shift the foundation of WWE and change its landscape this Sunday, when Wade Barrett becomes WWE Champion, or when John Cena is forced to walk away from the business. It’s a pretty cool match, and one that I’m really looking forward to. Unfortunately, that’s probably all I’m looking forward to since this year’s Survivor Series boasts a weak card. John Morrison’s match is something you’d see on Raw every week, Laycool’s bout is typical “underdog Diva” material, and the SmackDown! 10-Man Tag just popped outta’ nowhere with no elaborate buildup. For some reason I suspect Santino and Kozlov will create an upset and bag the championships, causing heat between Barrett, Gabriel, and Slater, leading to more Nexus members siding with David Otunga (ugh!). I’m hoping Daniel Bryan shows up somewhere to save the day. Then of course we have Kane’s championship defense. Either The Undertaker sends some sort of signal / rises from the grave and costs the Big Red Machine the World Heavyweight Championship, or Kane finds a way to retain it against Edge. I personally feel Kane should hold on to it for a while longer. It’s good that Edge is at the top of his game once more, but I was never really a fan of babyface Edge so I’m being a lil’ biased here. Plus, Edge should take notes from Mae Young off the Old School Raw on how to be ‘Rated [R]‘ .Survivor Series is a few days away so get to downloading, all!
