Watch My Chemical Romance's Danger days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys "Na Na Na" Official Music Video

My Chemical Romance (MCR) goes back with a bang with their latest single "Na Na Na" from their newest album Danger days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys to be released on November 22, 2010. Watch the "Na Na Na" Official Music Video below:

There's lots of fun to be had while watching the "Na Na Na" video:
1. Midway at the video, you can see a skeleton lying in the sand wearing the Black Parade costume worn by MCR in their songs The Black Parade and Famous Last Words. It might imply the death of the band's old musical style and the birth of a new one;

2. The video has a strong resemblance to the Power Rangers series due to the band member's color coded costumes, plus the fact that the video uses masked goons and a bald boss which is altogether commonly seen at Sentai-themed shows. It also has some similarities with Mad Max and Muse's Knights of Cydonia;

3. Gerard Way's hair is colored pink as to his original black hair (when he was still emo j/k);

4. The Vend-a-Hack device shown in the video could be traced back to the PC games Bioshock and Bioshock 2;

5. You can find two lions mating in the video if you look fast enough;

6. The "Gimme drugs" phrase is replaced by "Gimme bli" in the music video;

7. The band members' names are uniquely funny in their own right: Party Poison (also the title of a song in the album), Jet Star, Fun Ghoul, and Kobra Kid. Drummer Bob Bryar couldn't be seen on the video for he already left the band. Too bad.

I find this new music of My Chemical Romance to be very lively and catchy. Most reviewers gave it positive reviews and from the looks of it the Danger days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys album launch is going to be a bang. Most commentators on YouTube also gave positive comments about the single and its addictiveness. Of course, you can't remove the people that misses the band's old musical style.

Again,  My Chemical Romance's Danger days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is due on November 22, 2010.

'Till my next installment.
