George Takei, famous for playing as Hikaru Sulu in the Star Trek television series, has asked for the help of people around the world via Twitter. "Today we are all Japanese. Give $10 to help. Text REDCROSS to 90999, or click here," Takei tweeted.

Do help if you can. Contribute anything for the faster recovery of Japan. If you can't help financially, blog about it. Send this to your friends. Circulate it around the web. Raise awareness for lots of people, – Japanese and other nationals alike – possibly to reach 5-digit death toll mark, have died.
