How to Jailbreak iPhone, iPod, iPad Untethered iOS 4.3.1

Now that jailbreaking gadgets is now legal in the US, a lot of people tend to seek instructions on how to jailbreak their iPhone, iPod and iPad (I like to call them iProducts), which are updated once in a while by Apple.

Fortunately for you fellas, jailbreak coders are keeping up with the times and now they've released the latest iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak process.

Redsn0w and Pwnage Tool now supports the following to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 untethered:

*iPhone3GS
*iPhone4 (GSM)
*iPod touch 3G
*iPod touch 4G
*iPad1
*AppleTV 2G (currently PwnageTool only)

Notes prior to iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak process:

Ultrasn0w users don’t update yet;
Don't worry about the custom bundle there are none at the moment, just install Cydia ;

Instructions on how to jailbreak untethered iOS 4.3.1

1. Download the following program for your operating system

2. If you are on iOS 4.3.1 please skip this step, for users who are not yet on iOS 4.3.1, please update to iOS 4.3.1

3. Once you're on iOS 4.3.1 plugin your device run the program whether it's Pwnage Tool or Redsn0w

4. Follow the directions on the program and at the end you will need to put your device into DFU mode, once done you will need to restore your iPhone/iPod/iPad with the custom IPSW that was created with the program, and voila once it has been restored you will have a jailbroken iOS 4.3.1
