How to Change EA Persona Username for EA Games

So maybe you're asking "How can I change my EA Persona into a better sounding one because I named my current Battlefield 3 Persona crap?" Well, I found a trick on how to change your EA Persona (username). It's quite simple when I learned of it actually.

Thinking back, I really didn't understand those ragenamechangers who are bashing EA because they can't change their EA Personas. Then again, maybe the "clueless" EA tech support are partly to blame. Anyway, proceed below to learn how to change your EA Persona:

how to change EA persona username for battlefield 3, origins, darkspore

How to Change EA Persona Username for EA Games

1. Log-in your EA account;

2. Go to the EA Account Manager: Personal Details tab (https://profiles.ea.com/myprofile.do);

3. Once there, scroll down, select an EA Persona, and change it to your desired new Persona name.

Congratulations! You've successfully changed your EA Persona. Unfortunately though, this technique does not work on all EA games for some actually use your master account name. So for example, if you're playing Darkspore and you changed a Persona, it won't reflect inside the game because Darkspore recognizes only your master account name.

If you really do want to change your EA master account name though, it's doable, but you'll have to grind through 2 layers of EA tech support for 5 hours tops. Just keep asking them to change your name even if they tell you they can't do it, because somebody can and eventually you will be able to talk to that person if you keep your cool and maintain politeness all the time.

So I guess that's it. Now you know how to change your EA Persona username for EA games. Meanwhile, you can share or like this post for your friends to see.

How to Play Pacman on Google.com Homepage

Did you know that it's actually possible to play the world-famous Pacman game on the Google homepage? How cool is that!

Anyway, Google has placed the 1980 NAMCO BANDAI smash hit Pacman on its homepage permanently. That's right, permanently. I guess it's to pay homage to the whole industry the Pacman game started on its own. Even our own Manny Pacquiao's using the monicker "Pacman" in boxing. Suddenly I have a great idea: The Japanese should invite Pacman the Boxer to meet Pacman the Video Game Character. That would be one hell of a meeting don't you think?

Anyway, how to play Pacman on Google.com homepage instructional below:

How to Play Pacman on Google.com Homepage

1) Open your internet browser i.e. IE9, Firefox 5, Google Chrome;

2) Go to your address bar and type http://www.google.com/pacman. Alternatively, you can click the link.

3) Voila! You'll be playing Pacman shortly. If you choose to click the "Insert Coin" button, Pacwoman will appear and you'll be able to play Pacman with a friend, keyboard controls of course. Imagine playing Pacman with a friend using a standard keyboard. That's very...tight.

Now that you know how to play Pacman on the Google.com homepage, why don't you give it a try? I sure did. This would be perfect if your office doesn't allow you to install games and have blocked Facebook and flash-gaming internet sites. At least you'll get to play something right?

How to Withdraw Money From PayPal to Unionbank EON Card

Now you have a PayPal account. Not only that, you also have money in it, probably sent by someone you know, a payment from a buyer, or maybe your earnings from your make money online ventures. The problem is, how do you withdraw money from your PayPal account to your Unionbank EON Card?

Now I have here a step-by-step instructional that will guide you on withdrawing your hard-earned money from your PayPal to your Unionbank EON Card account.

How to Withdraw Money From PayPal to Unionbank EON Card

1) Log-in to your PayPal account;

2) Click on Withdraw;

3) After you click on Withdraw, you'll be presented with two methods on withdrawing from Paypal to your Unionbank EON card: 1) The "Withdraw funds to your bank account" method and the "Withdraw funds to your card" method. Continue reading below to know the difference between the two:

Method 1: Withdraw funds to your card

The "Withdraw funds to your card" method deducts P250.00 (roughly US $6.00) to your outstanding balance before withdrawal. The amount deducted serves as a processing fee for the Paypal to Unionbank EON Card money transfer. This takes 5-7 business days.

Method 2: Withdraw funds to your bank account

The "Withdraw funds to your bank account" method is my more preferred method of withdrawing money from Paypal. When you signed up for EON card, Unionbank also opened a savings account with it. It's not just an internet-functional debit card, it is also its own bank account.

Anyway, this method is better in the sense that if you withdraw P7,000.00 or more, you'll be able to avoid any fees that would otherwise arise from the transaction. Meanwhile, if you'll withdraw any amount below P7,000.00, you'll be charged with only P50.00 (roughly US $1.00). Compare that to the P250.00 charge in the previously mentioned method. Best of all, this method only takes 2-4 business days.

4) Regardless of the method you select, you'll now be brought to another window where PayPal would ask how much exactly do you want to withdraw. Say, you have US $1,500.00 on your PayPal account and you want to withdraw US $500.00 only. You'll put that amount in the box provided for and just click on submit.

*There is a minimum withdrawal amount of P500.00

5) You will arrive at the final form wherein PayPal will ask you to finalize your transaction while making sure that all the information you have provided them beforehand are correct i.e. correct bank account number and name. You should correct any errors you'll see at this point. If you don't, your withdrawal from Paypal to your Unionbank EON card might get rejected and worst of all you'll get charged a P250.00 return fee on your outstanding balance.

*The return fee is charged when Unionbank denies the money transfer sent by PayPal due to errors and/or inconsistencies regarding your bank account information. The proper action is to immediately correct any error and/or inconsistency by contacting to the party involved.

6) After submitting the final entry, you will be brought to a page where PayPal would tell you that your money withdrawal has been a success. You will also receive an email where PayPal would confirm your withdrawal and that your money should arrive in your account at a specified date not exceeding 4 business days.

*If your withdrawal is not in your bank account after 4 business days, you should contact PayPal support and/or your maintaining Unionbank branch for details on why the money withdrawal didn't go through.

That's it! Congratulations on successfully transferring your funds from one financial medium to another. It's that simple. Anyway, I hope you've learned properly how to withdraw money from PayPal to Unionbank EON Card.

Reading this guide and picking up some knowledge from it, a little show appreciation would be nice. Why not like the post or share it with your friends?

How to Prevent Facebook, Twitter From Tracking You

As social networks grow in size, so does their presence in the internet. As you can see here in this web page, I have quite a number of social media buttons installed: I have the Facebook Like button, the Twitter Tweet button, and the Google +1 button. To my defense, I've installed these buttons for people to be able to share the content they like in my site.

Now, did you know that these buttons, even without you clicking on them, are transmitting your activity already? What they'll do is transmit your browsing habits to companies that are willing to buy them for a sum of money or something similar. I found here a tool that would prevent Facebook and Twitter from tracking you ergo you won't leave any data-trail in any site until you actually click on a social media button i.e. the Like, Tweet, and/or +1 button. It's called ShareMeNot.

But what is ShareMeNot? As its home page says:
ShareMeNot is a Firefox add-on designed to prevent third-party buttons (such as the Facebook “Like” button or the Twitter “tweet” button) embedded by sites across the Internet from tracking you until you actually click on them. Unlike traditional solutions, ShareMeNot does this without completely removing the buttons from the web experience.

That said, let's proceed on how to prevent Facebook, Twitter from tracking you:

How to Prevent Facebook, Twitter From Tracking You

1. Go to this website: http://sharemenot.cs.washington.edu/;

2. Locate the ShareMeNot button and click the download link below it. Alternatively, you can download ShareMeNot here*;

3. A few confirmation boxes will appear. Just click OK on all of them to install ShareMeNot;

4. Restart your Firefox browser. Congratulations, you're now tracking-free!

*ShareMeNot is currently available for Mozilla Firefox only

You should definitely try out this plug-in especially if you're a privacy nerd. Even then, at least you now know how to prevent Facebook, Twitter and a plethora of other social networking sites as well (like Digg) from tracking you.

Thanks to the guys over at the University of Washington Computer Science Department for developing such a useful plug-in.

How to Get Back and Restore Old Facebook Chat

Many, if not all, Facebook users find the new Facebook chat bar to be annoying and irritating at times. Scratch that. They find the new Facebook chat very annoying. Not only do you need to manually disable the new Facebook chat sidebar each and every time you log-in, it also only displays the people you heavily chat with even if they're offline. Worst, you have a chaotic list of friends who are offline and online. Yes, you would have to sift through all those friends just to see if someone you've been wanting to talk to is online. Compare that to the old Facebook chat, very counter-productive.

With all those said, Facebook users are asking—demanding even—that Facebook get back and restore the old Facebook chat box. What you can do as a raging Facebook user is join, what else, fan pages. Enough fan pages will probably make Mark Zuckerberg's head turn and take notice. Google+ after all is just around the corner.

Onto the point: Just how do you get back and restore the old Facebook chat? We have multiple ways to do that, no problem. Alright then, head on below:

How to Get Back and Restore Old Facebook Chat

Method 1 - Restore old Facebook chat through manual revert

1) Login to your Facebook account;

2) Open a new tab on your browser;

3) Go to this link: http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php;

4) Voila! You have the old Facebook chat complete with friends being sorted out!

The only disadvantage of this method is the way you have to open the old Facebook chat in a new tab everytime you log-in your Facebook account, which is quite tiring and repetitive.

Method 2 - Get back old Facebook chat via Greasemonkey and a script

1) For Firefox users, install a plug-in called Greasemonkey first: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/. For Google Chrome users, proceed to step 2.

Fact: Searching for Greece Monkey in Google will bring up results for Greasemonkey, which is not too ironic considering there are no monkeys in Greece;

2) Download and install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/107159. For the record, it's totally safe. No malware, no frills, no nothing. It would just tweak your Facebook to restore to the old Facebook chat. So when alerts pop-up in your browser, just click on Continue;

3) Restart your internet browser by closing it then opening it again or just simply refresh your Facebook window. That ought to get back and restore the old Facebook chat.

This method would only work on a computer where it's installed. So don't be surprised to see the new Facebook chat box when you're on a computer rental shop. Then agian, you can always install these scripts even in a rental computer to get back and restore the old Facebook chat.

Method 3 - Hiding the new Facebook chat box via Greasemonkey

There's also a method of hiding the irritating new Facebook chat via Greasemonkey again. More on this below:

1) For Firefox users, install a plug-in called Greasemonkey first: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/. For Google Chrome users, proceed to step3;

2) Restart your Firefox browser;

3) Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/106579. Just like the code above, this script is totally safe. After installation, just refresh your browser and you'll see the Hide button on your Facebook window.

That's it! Now you know all the ways on how to get back and restore the old Facebook chat. Just go on your way and implement it now, or some other time when the new Facebook chat gets in your veins.

Don't forget to share or like this post if it helped you. Nice eh?

How to Get Free Google+ or Google Plus Invites

Everybody wants in on the newest social networking platform that is Google+, aka Google Plus. But anybody who isn't anybody wouldn't just get Google+ invites easily, you need to know somebody from the inside to get in if you weren't in the initial invites. Proceed to the section below to learn how to get free Google+ or Google Plus invites:

How to Get Free Google+ Plus Invites

1) Look for a friend who was invited at the initial field launch of the Google+ Project. Ironically, you can do this by chatting your friends up in Facebook and asking them if they were invited over at Google Plus. FYI, Mark Zuckerberg was invited to Google+. He already has a profile there.

Alternatively, you can do this by scouring the web for people who are giving away Google+ invites;

2) When you have already located a friend who is a Google+ user, ask him or her to send you an invite. Give him or her your most used email address as it will be where your invite will be sent;

3) After a few hours (hopefully minutes), you will receive your Google Plus invite. Use what's contained in the message to be a Google+ user.

Congratulations on being a Google+ or Google Plus user. Now, you will be what they call as a Limited Field Trial User. Note about this below:
You’re a part of a small group of people who are helping to test Google+. When you share something with people who are not yet able to use Google+, they will receive it via email but won’t be able to comment or engage with the content like other Google+ users. They’ll be able to join Google+ as we let more users in over time.

So I guess that's that. Now that you know how to get free Google+ or Google Plus invites, why don't you give it a try and tell me how it goes?

How to Spot Fake New Philippine Peso Bills

Recently highlighted in the local TV news were counterfeit Philippine peso notes. At this early in the game, some unscrupulous people have already tried to duplicate the redesigned Philippine Peso bills. According to Maja Gratia Malic, manager of the currency analysis and redemption division of the BSP, these fake bills look dull, feel plain and is smooth to the touch. With regards to this problem, proceed to the section below to know how to spot fake new Philippine Peso bills by its looks and feel.

Characteristics of Genuine New Philippine Peso bills

Embossed bill wordings - The title of the bill and the Republika ng Pilipinas phrase is lifted above the bill and is clearly distinguishable by feel;

Rough - New bills are threaded and are colored through a process known as "intalio printing." This process takes a maximum of 4 days to finish, resulting to the rough feel of the new bills;

Vividly colored - Genuine bills are very vivid and has vibrant colors. It doesn't look dull, light, or faded. Color contrast and hue are definite giveaways when spotting fakes;

Fatter security threads - The holographic security threads are still there, but were made fatter for improved visibility. It also changes colors when viewed from different angles;

Multiple watermarks - Aside from the watermark of the face of the bill, the Central Bank has also added a watermark of a bill's respective denomination i.e. P1,000.00 bills have now watermarks in the bill itself. Just hold the bill against a light source to see these security features;

Inscriptions - The new Philippine Peso bills have on the lower left hand corner on both faces inscriptions which look like a series of horizontal curves. These inscriptions are a pre-hispanic script called Baybayin, which in the bill translates to Filipino. The bill, when placed against the light, will show these two inscriptions perfectly mirroring each other.

Optically variable inks - The ink used in selected parts of a genuine Philippine Peso bill change color when viewed in a different angle.

Security Features: (1) embossed prints, (2) serial number, (3) security fibers, (4) watermark, (5) see-through mark, (6) concealed value, (7) security thread, (8) optically variable device, (9) optically variable ink

Now with these security features you will be able to spot fake Philippine Peso bills like a pro in no time. But what will you do if fake Philippine Peso bills still get past you? Here's what to do:

How to Report Fake Philippine Peso Bills

1. Go to any Philippine bank e.g. Banco De Oro, Union Bank of the Philippines etc.;

2. Present the Philippine Peso bill or bills you suspect to be fake;

3. The bank will give the presenter an acknowledgement receipt to certify that the notes submitted are the presenter's. It will be used later for claiming the notes submitted. The bank will now forward the notes to the Central Bank of the Philippines for analysis;

4. After an immediate analysis and determination, the Central Bank of the Philippines will return the notes to the bank of origin. The presenter will now be able to claim the said notes together with the analysis of the BSP.

Note: The Central Bank of the Philippines will not replace notes they determined to be counterfeit with genuine Philippine Peso bills. They reasoned out that the counterfeit bills have no real value to begin with, so it is not economical to replace something without value with something of value.

With this quick guide I hope I helped you learn how to spot fake new Philippine Peso bills. You have to be absolutely careful with dealing with other people because this is money we're talking about. Especially look out for your bills in shady places like Divisoria, Quiapo, and most places in Manila.

How to Remove or Delete Most Visited in Google Chrome

I recently switched from Firefox 5 to Google Chrome due to the former's incessant crash issues on my computer. I just hate to reopen Firefox, reopen all the tabs I previously opened just for the browser to crash again. I googled for answers for quite a number of hours, sad to say I didn't find my answer and I think it's time to move on.

But then, as I used Google Chrome, I found out that it was keeping tabs on all the websites I opened. I was asking to myself, "how could I remove or delete these 'Most Visited' tabs in Google Chrome?" So if you're asking the same question, head on below and follow the step-by-step instructions on how to remove or delete Most Visited in Google Chrome.

How to Remove or Delete Most Visited / Recently Closed in Google Chrome

1. Open a new Google Chrome browser window. If you have a current one open, that will do;

2. Go to the upper-right section of the Google Chrome browser window and look for a wrench icon. You can't miss it, it's just below the exit (x) button;

3. Click on the wrench, a dropdown bar will appear. Click on "New incognito window". Alternatively, you can press CTRL+Shift+N;

4. Voila! Google Chrome Incognito Mode!

And that's it, no more Most Visited, no more Recently Closed and no more browser or search history that can be traced back to you or used against you, especially if your computer is being used by multiple users. Best of all, no more nosy brother or sister always looking at your Facebook account.

Now that you know how to remove or delete Most Visited in Google Chrome, you can share this post if it helped you.

How to Remote Upload Megaupload and Mediafire Free

It has been a problem to users to upload and download huge chunks of files off of file hosting sites, especially if they have a somewhat slow internet connection and just to rehost a file in their own online storage account. Good thing there's a thing such as remote uploading. But remote uploading has difficulties of its own.

In this post I'll discuss to you how to remote upload to Megaupload and Mediafire for free and easily. Just head to the section below for the steps:

1. Get a direct link from the mentioned file hosting sites, the type of links that start immediately;

2. Open another tab in your browser (or another browser window if you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer) and open www.embedupload.com. Click on the file host icon and tick the check box;

3. Add the username and password of your Mediafire or Megaupload account (the account to receive the remotely uploaded files) then select "Remote Upload";

4. Boxes will appear on your browser window. Place the links of the files you want to be remote uploaded in these empty boxes. It will then download the files remotely to your online storage account. You can even close the embedupload page once it starts remotely uploading.

Now that you know how to remote upload files on Megaupload and Mediafire for free, why don't you try it on your account? Surely this process would be useful especially when you want to rehost your files and you're in a time fix.

How to Install 6.20, 6.35, and 6.39 PRO-B7

It's time again for another installment on how to install a CFW on your PSP. This time, let's discuss how to install the 6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7 CFW series from Coldbird and company.

I'm assuming that you are already on a previous 6.xx PRO-Bx firmware i.e. PRO-B6. If you are, proceed below. On the other hand, if you're on an older firmware such as GEN or the 5.00 m33 series, proceed HERE.

How to Install 6.20, 6.35, and 6.39 PRO-B7

1. Download the 6.20, 6.35 or 6.39 PRO-B7 updaters according to your desire from PRO's website here: http://code.google.com/p/procfw/wiki/Installation.

*UMD models are all PSPs with the UMD slot in the back. GO! models need no explanation.

*Check CFW compatibilities with your PSP's motherboard. Misidentifying your PSP's motherboard and incorrectly installing the inappropriate CFW will lead to a brick;

2. Extract the CFW .rar file you've downloaded then copy and paste the 6.xxPRO_Permanent, FastRecovery and PROUPDATE folders into your x:/PSP/GAME folder. As usual, disregard the SDK folder;

* Make sure to uninstall any previous PRO-Bx installations before installing the 6.xx PRO-B7. If you're unsure how to do this, proceed further.

3. Unplug your PSP and run the PRO UPDATE program. Press all the necessary buttons to install your respective 6.xx PRO-B7. Wait for a moment for the program to execute itself. Now you're on 6.xx PRO-B7;

*If you decided to install 6.35 or 6.39 PRO-B7, your installation process stops here. Congratulations. No need to read further. If you on the other hand decided to install 6.20 PRO-B7, proceed further.

*Be reminded that if you completely turn off your PSP while on 6.35 or 6.39 PRO-B7, you will revert back to your respective OFW version. Perform a "Quickstart" or run the respective PRO-B7 installer again to go back to custom firmware state;

4. If you've decided to run 6.20 PRO-B7 on permanent patch, look for and execute the PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER program. After opening the program, it will ask you this:

If you have formerly installed the PRO-B series on your PSP, you should just press X and O. You'll be fine totally fine, no problem. But if you've been previously using other CFWs aside from the PRO-B series, press X and X just to be sure.

What the PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER does is nail your CFW in place, considering that all PRO-B CFWs are mostly HEN-like in state. As with all other HENs, shutting your PSP down completely or running out of batteries while playing a game would completely flash your PSP memory and return your firmware to OFW. With this permanent patch, you'll have a fixed CFW like the m33 and the GEN. You have to remember though that this is applicable only for 6.20, not 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7.

Anyway, it's going to mention about keeping your vshorig.prx and vshmain.prx files in a safe location. Do not delete these files. Remember it for the entirety of your 6.20 PRO-B7 run;

5. After the PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER exits, you're now on 6.20 PRO-B7 permanent patch. Congratulations.

How to Uninstall 6.20 PRO-Bx Permanent Patch CFWs

If you don't know how to uninstall the 6.20 PRO-Bx permanent patch CFWs from Coldbird or if you've come to a complete halt from reading the installation process above, proceed below:

1. If you are contemplating on installing the 6.20, 6.35 or 6.39 PRO-B7 CFWs on your PSP but you're currently running on 6.20 PRO-Bx permanent patch, go to your games section and look for the PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER and launch the program;

2. After launching the program, the respective PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER for your current PRO-Bx CFW will ask you if you want to uninstall the patch. Select uninstall;

3. After uninstalling the patch, the program will exit back to your PSP's home screen. Note that you're once again on a HEN-like state because you've uninstalled the permanent patch for the 6.20 PRO-Bx CFW.

*You will have no problem uninstalling the permanent patch if you did not delete the vshorig.prx and vshmain.prx store on your PSP's root directory;

4. To go back to OFW and finally install the newer 6.xx PRO-B7 CFW series, fully shut down your PSP (long turn off aka hard reboot). Turn it on again. Now you're on your respective 6.xx OFW.  Now go back to the steps above and proceed installation.

6.20, 6.35 and 6.39 PRO-B7 changelog:

[!] Fixed NODRM Engine (DDF012 DLC Costume Bug)

Thanks to Coldbird and Team PRO for this release.

How to Fix Shared IP Address Downloads Globe and Smart

If you're subscribed to Globe or Smart's internet postpaid plans, chances are you love to upload and download your stuff at file hosting sites such as Megaupload or FileServe. You've also probably experienced the dreaded shared IP address message, which of course is very irritating, especially when you've never downloaded anything in a single day and yet file hosting sites boot you out for apparently downloading too much. I will discuss it as best as I can in the following paragraphs.

What causes the "You've reached your download limit or you maybe using a shared IP address" message

As far as I understand, Globe and Smart doesn't assign unique IP addresses to their subscribers. IP addresses are comparable to street addresses. A house could be numbered 521 and the neighbor numbered as 522. It's basically the same with IP addresses for computers. Your computer could be IP'd as 129.22.111.111 and your neighbor's could be 129.68.113.221.

Now Globe and Smart, like mentioned above, doesn't assign unique IP addresses to their subscribers. Meaning that if Globe or Smart has 10,000 subscribers in a given area, all those subscribers are using the same IP address. If you have an IP address of 192.22.333.338, the people around you also are using the same. This is a huge problem to subscribers who use file hosting sites since these services doesn't recognize shared IP addresses even on different computers.

This only means that if one subscriber among the 10,000 subscribers in a given area downloads something at a given file hosting service, that already counts as one download from one IP address and the remaining 9,999 subscribers would have to wait for the download limit to be lifted and hopefully be the first one among the 9,999 subscribers to download next.

Shared IP address download error

Shared IP problems doesn't only apply to downloading to file hosting sites. This nuisance also extends to other IP addresses banning your IP address from their domain temporarily or permanently. For example, if a person stirred trouble at a given website and your IP address has been permanently banned from it, other subscribers who are using the shared IP as you are would also be banned from that website, even if they are completely different users with completely different accounts from the one banned.

Now, this would be no problem if only Globe and Smart assigned static or unique dynamic IP addresses to their users like the telco giant PLDT. If you have PLDT as your ISP then chances are you've never experienced this shared IP trouble. It's also worth noting that while prepaid dial-up services offer slower internet speed, at least they provide users with unique dynamic IP addresses.

What are static and dynamic IP addresses

Simply put, static IP addresses are fixed IP addresses that is assigned to one subscriber only. Your address is unique and is never the same with anyone else in any given area or time. Unique dynamic IP addresses on the other hand are IP addresses that always change whenever you turn on your internet connection but is never the same with anyone else in any given area or time. It's akin to having your street address changed every time you enter your house.

How to fix shared IP address issues

I guess there's a plethora of ways to fix this shared IP address issue, but I only know of two. I'm not a technical guy, but I know enough to run and do things myself at the most.

1) Fixing the shared IP address issue for downloads

If you love to download stuff from file hosting sites but always encounter the shared IP error, you can try using free premium link generators service found everywhere on the internet. These services, such as shimory.com, offer premium download links at high speeds which coincidentally makes file hosting sites disregard shared IP addresses because the service itself is a registered premium user. Most premium link generators offer up to three simultaneous downloads on one computer.

2) Fixing the shared IP address issue for banned IPs or downloads

If you want to enter a website a shared IP has been banned from, you can use free IP anonymizers. Just google for them and you'll find one in no time. You'll just need to enter the hyperlink or web address of the said site onto the anonymizer service and you'll be surfing a site anonymously.

This could also be used as an alternate to downloading a file or as simply surfing anonymously.

Best free internet anonymizers

I hope that I helped you with this simple how-to guide. There are more ways on how to fix shared IP addresses like using internet proxies or using veiled ISPs but I'm not in a position to discuss them as I lack the knowledge yet. I'll update this post once I get the know-how.

How to Load Money on Infolinks Debit Card Via Payoneer

I'm assuming you have received your first Infolinks payment and that you already have an Infolinks-Payoneer Visa debit card. I'm also assuming that you've already linked your Infolinks and Payoneer accounts together. If your answer is yes to all of these, head on to the section below:

How to Load Money on Infolinks Debit Card Via Payoneer

1. Your registered email address will receive a message from Payoneer saying Infolinks has sent you payment. Make sure that the message you've received is authentic by comparing it with the image below (some words were omitted for security purposes):

Click on the Continue button on the side of the message or copy the hyperlink and paste it on your address bar. You'll arrive at the Payoneer payments window;

2. At the Payoneer payments window, you can choose between two methods of payment: a)The Standard Payment Method and; the b)Immediate Payment Method. Differences between these two methods are discussed below:

• Standard Payment method

In the Standard Payment method, Payoneer will process your account absolutely free of charge. The only downside is that you'll have to wait a maximum of 7 days before you can withdraw your money.

• Immediate Payment method

In the Immediate Payment method, Payoneer will process your account and make your money available to you within 2 hours of receipt. They will also deduct a $5.00 processing fee to your account, which is quite a hefty charge since it doesn't justify the ease of simply transferring funds electronically.

Important: There's a seemingly trick tick box sentence in the Payoneer load payment system in which it asks you if you want all your future payments to be under the Immediate Payment method. If you have accidentally ticked on the box unknowingly, $5.00 will be deducted on your account every month excluding the monthly cyber account maintenance of $3.00. Read each sentence carefully and know which box to select, or else be deducted with an obscene $8.00 monthly without even doing anything.

3. After selecting a payment method and clicking on Submit, you will be directed to this window (some words were omitted for security purposes):

This image applies only to those who have selected the Immediate Payment method. The Standard Payment method will present something similar but without the "Fees will be deducted on card load" line.

Congratulations! You now know how to load money on your Infolinks Debit Card Via Payoneer. You can now withdraw money from any ATM in the world that carries the Visa and Visa Plus logos. Corresponding (and obscene) charges apply.

How to Get Free P20 or More Globe Load

There are times when we're out of prepaid credits in our cellphones only to find out that we're too lazy to go to our nearest neighborhood store to load up. That's why I'm going to introduce to you a cool way of gaining absolutely free Globe load without getting out of the house while enjoying yourself too.

This neat trick is applicable for Globe SIM cards ONLY. And for a better free load experience, I suggest using a Globe SIM card which has zero prepaid balance. You can do this with as many empty Globe SIM cards as you have. Just never ever forget to unsubscribe.

So enough talk. Just how would you get free P20 or more Globe cellphone load?

1. Sign up at Grabagold.com and enter your Globe cellphone number. You'll receive a registration text. Enter it at the Grabagold confirmation window. Just make sure you have zero balance on the SIM you're going to use or else you'll be charged with P15.00 instantly for simply using the service;

2. Look for the roulette section of Grabagold.com and consume all your free 3 spins;

3. After using up all your three spins, buy the Game Package A and the Game Package B to get 6 more spins (3 spins per package);

4. Voila! Instant free Globe load. Usually one wins P20.00 only. I heard a friend of mine won P80.00 just by using all his free spins. You, how much have you won?;

5. After consuming all the free spins, unsubscribe to Grabagold.com. You can do this by going to My Account then clicking on Unsubscribe. This step is very important. If you fail to unsubscribe, you'll be charged P15.00 per 5 days.

Did you enjoy the free P20 Globe load? Well, I do hope you don't get addicted to playing at Grabagold.com. All that incessant playing will just make you bankrupt. Do note that if you try to unlock and win items there, you'll have to spend a fortune. Also consider the element of luck. Just get the free Globe load and storm out.

How to Change YouTube Username

A few days ago I went to YouTube to change my username. Apparently my old YouTube username didn't fit me anymore as I've already outgrown it. Seeing a change of YouTube username as the most logical thing to do, I went on to my YouTube's account settings page only to find out that there was no real fast and instant way to change YouTube usernames. Disappointed, I tried hard to find a solution so you won't have to.

I'll outline in the section below step-by-step instructions on how to change YouTube usernames. Continue reading on below:

1. Sign in your YouTube account and go to your Account Settings;

2. Go to Manage Account;

3. Go to Close Account. While here, enter a reason for closing your account. The reason I put in mine is "Closing account to change YouTube username. A change name feature would really be handy." Hey, maybe you could put this as your reason too. Y'know, the more the people say the same thing the more stronger the message and the more it would be heard by YouTube management;

4. Once you press on "Close Account", your current account would be closed instantly without frills and you will be brought to another page with the option to create another account with the same email address (thereby effectively linking your YouTube account to your Google account) but of course, with a new username to fill-in. I gotta tell you, it took me a good 30 minutes to find a decent username that's fitting and that's not taken. Almost every name that I typed in returned "Name unavailable."

5. Click on OK and voila! You successfully changed your YouTube username!

Side note though, it's hard to find a decent YouTube username. Most automated results will force you to add random numbers at the end of your name.

Attention: Should you decide to change your YouTube username via this manner, all your comments, views, likes, subscribers, basically everything, would be undone.

And with that ends this how-to instructional. I hope I helped you change your YouTube username without much trouble. Just holla below if I saved you time.

How to Change Google Adsense Appearance

So you want to change your site's Google Adsense appearance? Yes, contrary to popular belief, you can change your Google Adsense appearance officially and legitimately with the use of the Google Adsense settings tab.

It's a simple trick actually. When done, your Adsense would no longer look like the default one. Instead, the Adsense text would look like Verdana or Times New Roman, depending on your taste. That said, this change applies only to Content-Text ads and not link ads.

Anyway, the step-by-step instructions on how to change Google Adsense appearance is below:

1. Sign in to your Adsense account;
2. Go to the "Account settings" tab;
3. Scroll down and look for the heading "Default ad display preferences" then click on Edit;
4. Click on the drop-down boxes and edit to your liking.

Once you finish, your Adsense ads would look something like this, images courtesy of Jensense.com:

Verdana

Arial

Times New Roman

The text on the ads look small but you can also change the size at the same area as noted above. In my opinion though, the default Adsense ad templates are good as they already are. But then, changing the Adsense appearance is good for template blending.

So if you're one to try increasing your CTR and then some, try the steps above. Who knows right? Your $1.00 a day could turn into $10.00 a day.

Now you know how to change the Google Adsense appearance on your own. If this post helped you, just holla below.

How to Remove Mac Defender, Mac Security Malware

Earlier this month there have been reports about Apple Macs being attacked by a malicious software ironically named Mac Defender, Mac Protector and/or Mac Security. It's ultimate objective: To get your credit card number.

Now, the Mac OS' immunity from regular Windows malware is well-known to everyone. But with this recent attack, I'm not so sure about that anymore, especially that the Mac system is not as developed and as tested like Windows.

Apple meanwhile promised to release a software update regarding this. For the mean time, proceed to the section below for the official Apple step-by-step instructions on how to remove Mac Defender, Mac Protector, and Mac Security.

Products Affected by Mac Defender, Mac Protector, and Mac Security:

Mac OS X 10.4, Mac OS X 10.6, Mac OS X 10.5

How to avoid installing Mac Defender, Mac Protector, Mac Security

If any notifications about viruses or security software appear, quit Safari or any other browser that you are using. If a normal attempt at quitting the browser doesn’t work, then Force Quit the browser.

In some cases, your browser may automatically download and launch the installer for this malicious software.  If this happens, cancel the installation process; do not enter your administrator password.  Delete the installer immediately using the steps below.
  1. Go into the Downloads folder or your preferred download location.
  2. Drag the installer to the Trash.
  3. Empty the Trash.

How to remove Mac Defender, Mac Protector, Mac Security

If the malware has been installed, we recommend the following actions:
  • Do not provide your credit card information under any circumstances.
  • Use the Removal Steps below.
Removal steps
  • Move or close the Scan Window
  • Go to the Utilities folder in the Applications folder and launch Activity Monitor
  • Choose All Processes from the pop up menu in the upper right corner of the window
  • Under the Process Name column, look for the name of the app and click to select it; common app names include: Mac Defender, Mac Security or Mac Protector
  • Click the Quit Process button in the upper left corner of the window and select Quit
  • Quit Activity Monitor application
  • Open the Applications folder
  • Locate the app ex. Mac Defender, Mac Security, Mac Protector or other name
  • Drag to Trash, and empty Trash
Malware also installs a login item in your account in System Preferences. Removal of the login item is not necessary, but you can remove it by following the steps below.
  • Open System Preferences, select Accounts, then Login Items
  • Select the name of the app you removed in the steps above ex. Mac Defender, Mac Security, Mac Protector
  • Click the minus button
Use the steps in the “How to avoid installing this malware” section above to remove the installer from the download location.

Let me remind you again that the section above is an official release from the Apple website. I hope you now know how to remove the Mac Defender, Mac Protector, and Mac Security malwares on your own.

Now, if you still manage to find yourself in a difficult position regarding the malware removal, you should go HERE.

How to Upgrade/Update/Install 5.50 Prometheus-4 to 6.20 PRO-B4 Permanent

Update: If you landed here looking for ways to upgrade to 6.35 PRO-B5 and 6.20 PRO-B5 and you're already a 6.xx PRO-B4 user, just uninstall the permanent patch on 6.20 PRO-B4 or just fully shut down your PSP if you're on 6.35 PRO-B4. That way the PSP flashes the memory back to 6.20 OFW. When you're already on the 6.20 original firmware, follow the steps below. It's just exactly the same. In fact, I'm already at 6.20 PRO-B5 now. Look:

So again, just follow what I mentioned below and you should be safe and guaranteed to be virtually brick-free.

BTW, the SDK Folder in 6.35 PRO-B5 and 6.20 PRO-B5 I heard is for the developers. So don't mind it, just disregard it and leave it alone.

-----

I just updated my custom firmware a few hours ago from Liquidzigong's 5.50 Prometheus-4 to Coldbird's 6.20 PRO-B4 Permanent. Now believe me what I did ain't pretty. It took too long and irritated the hell out of me. Fortunately I didn't brick.

Seeing that there are people out there like me who have no idea what to do to upgrade to 6.20 PRO-B4, I'll make a simple guide here. I found it out the hard way so you won't have to.

Disclaimer: This is what I exactly did. Now, if your PSP gets bricked, it's not my fault because it worked for me. Don't worry, there's a high chance you'll succeed too. Just make that Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.65 handy.

Now, I won't be putting on any links since you can already find them in the internet. One good source of CFWs and homebrews is pspslimhacks.com. You can find everything you need there. Again, this is what I did with my 5.50 Prometheus-4. It's likely to work too with 5.00 m33-6 and 5.50 GEN-D3. Let's begin.

How to Upgrade 5.50 Prometheus-4 to 6.20 PRO-B4 Permanent for Dummies

1. Grab a copy of the 6.20 Sony OFW (Official Firmware), not 6.21, not 6.30. ONLY 6.20 Sony OFW. You can download copies of it off the internet. Just google it. You should receive a file called 620.PBP;

2. Plug your PSP in your computer. Go to x/PSP/GAME and create a folder. Name it "UPDATE", all caps. Paste the 620.PBP inside that folder;

3. Unplug your PSP. Go to the games section, there you would find the 6.20 Sony OFW update. Run it directly. It will get rid of the 5.50 Prometheus-4 for you. After it installs, you should now be in the 6.20 original firmware. Note that some the games in your XMB would disappear. That's fine because when you go back to CFW it'll appear again.

*NOTE: If the 6.20 updater says "Firmware is already 9.90. There's no need to upgrade." You could disable version.txt in the recovery menu of your CFW.

The long way to do the above is: 1) Hold SELECT, the VSH menu will appear; 2) Look for USB Device, change it from Memory Stick to Flash 0; 3) Plug your PSP in your computer, open it, scour all the folders and look for a notepad file called version.txt. Find the "9.90" line inside it and change it to "5.50" then save; 4) Unplug your PSP, hold SELECT again then return the USB Device from Flash 0 to Memory Stick.

4. Plug your PSP again to your computer. Go to x/seplugins. Look for the notepad files called "game", "vsh", and "pops". You should see something like this in all three notepad files:

ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx 1
ms0:/seplugins/macrofire.prx 1
ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx 1
ms0:/seplugins/hud.prx 1

Make all those 1's to 0's. The reasoning for this is some plug-ins are incompatible in the installation of the 6.20 PRO-B4. You can turn some of these on again anyway. Note that I said "some" only because chances are high that there would be really incompatible plug-ins.

5. I do hope that you have already downloaded a 6.20 PRO-B4 updater by now. If you haven't yet, go to pspslimhacks.com and find the 6.20 PRO-B4 post and download from there.

Now, extract the RAR file. You'll end up with three folders. Paste all these folders in x/PSP/GAME. Unplug your PSP and run the PRO UPDATE eboot. In the PRO UPDATE screen, just press X and X and you're done. Congratulations! You're now a PSP master on 6.20 PRO-B4!

Remember that you're in a HEN-like state at this time. When you shut down your PSP completely you'll revert back to 6.20 OFW, not that it's bad. It's just going to eat your time.

6. Run the PRO PERMANENT BOOTLOADER next. What it does is it nails your 6.20 PRO-B4 in place so even if you run out of battery accidentally or if you shut it down completely you'll still be in 6.20 PRO-B4. It's totally uninstallable though, should you wish to.

Here's the critical part:

You should ideally press X and X. Y'know, just to avoid bricks. But if you feel like you're safe and you'll be just wasting your time, just press X and O. That's what I did anyway. Just X'd and O'd instantly.

It's going to say something about keeping a vshorig.prx and a vshmain.prx. Read carefully what it says. Remember it for the entirety of your 6.20 PRO-B4 run.

7. After the program exits, your PSP is now bricked on 6.20 PRO-B4 Permanent! Congratulations!

Known issues in 5.xx to 6.20 PRO-B4 migration:
• Corrupted save files to 5.50 GEN-D3, some CFWs, and some games (repairable by MagicSave)
• Semi-bricks
• Incompatibility with some plug-ins
• Incompatibility with models above 5g
• Incompatibility with OFWs above 6.35

Advantages of using 6.20 PRO-B4:
• Working DLCs
• Access to PSN, no plug-ins needed
• Improved speed to CSO files
• Can run any ISO file (untouched, patched, clean)

Keys:
• Holding Select at system start-up would instantly revert you back to 6.20 OFW
• Holding R at start-up would allow you to skip the Sony welcome screen and be immediately at the recovery console
• Pressing the triangle, circle, square, and X button simultaneously at start-up would call Godzilla – just kidding

I hope I helped you successfully update your 5.50 Prometheus-4, 5.50 GEN-D3 or 5.00 m33-6 with this simple guide. A simple thanks in the comments box would do a lot.

Thanks to Coldbird and Team Genesis for this CFW.

Upgrading to 6.20 PRO-B4 is one thing, but making your PSP waterproof is another.

'Till my next installment.
