How to Change Google Adsense Appearance

So you want to change your site's Google Adsense appearance? Yes, contrary to popular belief, you can change your Google Adsense appearance officially and legitimately with the use of the Google Adsense settings tab.

It's a simple trick actually. When done, your Adsense would no longer look like the default one. Instead, the Adsense text would look like Verdana or Times New Roman, depending on your taste. That said, this change applies only to Content-Text ads and not link ads.

Anyway, the step-by-step instructions on how to change Google Adsense appearance is below:

1. Sign in to your Adsense account;
2. Go to the "Account settings" tab;
3. Scroll down and look for the heading "Default ad display preferences" then click on Edit;
4. Click on the drop-down boxes and edit to your liking.

Once you finish, your Adsense ads would look something like this, images courtesy of Jensense.com:

Verdana

Arial

Times New Roman

The text on the ads look small but you can also change the size at the same area as noted above. In my opinion though, the default Adsense ad templates are good as they already are. But then, changing the Adsense appearance is good for template blending.

So if you're one to try increasing your CTR and then some, try the steps above. Who knows right? Your $1.00 a day could turn into $10.00 a day.

Now you know how to change the Google Adsense appearance on your own. If this post helped you, just holla below.

'Till my next installment.
