Get Ready For The Biggest Event of The Summer!
Two things will reach its peak this Sunday ; the summer heat, and the burning hot rivalry between John Cena and the prodigal champion, CM Punk! We’re at WWE’s ‘WrestleMania of the summer’ again, and with an epic Undisputed WWE Championship main event, it promises to be as groundbreaking as Money In The Bank was a month ago.

Download WWE Summerslam 2011 Exclusive Poster!

It’s the biggest event of the summer, and now thanks to VKM via WCFR and Wrestling Cover Forum, you can take an EXCLUSIVE first-look at the poster for WWE’s most popular annual PPV next to WrestleMania.
Exclusive : WWE Summerslam 2011 Poster

It’s a very cool poster, much better than last year’s at least. It’s interesting to see that Sin Cara has taken the spot of “jumping man”, which is a spot normally reserved for Rey Mysterio. WWE are really pushing this guy with everything they’ve got. And the name of “everything” is Triple H. ;)
Anyway, it’s also nice to see Randy Orton up in front. I would have loved to see CM Punk somewhere in there as well, but I’m starting to think he’ll really leave at Summerslam, which is probably why WWE kept him off their marketing material.

The poster isn’t in English, by the way. It’s the international version.

WWE Money In The Bank 2011 PPV Poster (Feat. John Morrison!)

WWE Money In The Bank 2011 Poster
Thanks to VKM and WCF, we now have an Exclusive First Look at the poster for this year’s Money In The Bank event. Since John Morrison is currently recovering from an injury, I’m guessing they’ll change this poster in the next couple of weeks, but for now you can take an early glimpse of the poster for the show.
You’ll notice the poster isn’t in English. It’s actually the German version, which means that this poster could work exclusively for European and International territories. We’ll have to wait and see.
Last year’s MITB was pretty awesome. I had my reservations and doubts about it, but it turned out to be one of the best shows of the year. It’s one of the few shows I actually look forward to post-WrestleMania. Hopefully this year’s event is as unpredictable and entertaining as last year’s.
I think WWE could have chosen a better shot of John Morrison. He kinda’ looks like he’s floating in midair. Either way, it’s pretty cool that we get to see this poster months before the event itself. Click the thumbnail below to see the full-size poster and Morrison doing one of his signature moves.

WWE Over The Limit 2011 Wallpaper
I didn’t have a cool caption for this wallpaper (you know, the one I normally have before every post), so I left it empty. Maybe because I have no idea what this PPV is going to be like. It doesn’t really have a theme and half the time I forget it even exists, yet here it is less than a week away. The only match I’m really looking forward to at Over The Limit is Randy Orton vs Christian. I love the match they had on SmackDown! and if it’s any indication of things to come, this rematch should be an absolute work of art.
I enjoy seeing Christian in the main-event. You gotta’ hand it to him, the guy knows how to put on a good show. And that’s it. There’s really nothing else on this PPV that intrigues me. Unless Kane and Big Show get on the card. That’ll be cool. AndSin Cara. The guy’s getting better every week. I can’t say I care that much aboutEzekiel Jackson’s issues with Corre or Cena’s I Quit match with The Miz. It’s obvious John is never going to quit because [1] he just won the title after nearly a year and [2] he needs to sell more t-shirts (that say Never Give Up). I especially don’t care about Jerry Lawler’s painfully long feud with Michael Cole. How many times do we have to endure watching Jack Swagger run out to attack Lawler just as Cole is about to get attacked? It’s the same old s**t since before WrestleMania and it has come to a point where it’s just depressing to watch. I did mark-out when Lawler threw the chair on Cole inside the Colemine though. Too bad it didn’t do more damage. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love it when Cole gets his face punched in, I just wish he’d stay out of the picture for a while. ;)
Sorry if I sound like I’m whining, but the fact is these feuds are just frustratingly booooring.
Anyway, here’s the wallpaper for WWE Over The Limit 2011 featuring all the matches that have been announced thus far. I know it has only four matches, but I can only work with what WWE gives us…and till now they’ve only given us four matches. Enjoy, all. :)

Download WWE Capitol Punishment 2011 Wallpaper!

WWE Capitol Punishment 2011 HQ Poster
This poster was supposed to go up much earlier but needless to say, work kept me from doing so. Thanks to VKM and WCF, we now have the HQ widescreen poster for WWE’s next pay-per-view event, Capitol Punishment, previously known as Fatal 4Way.
It isn’t a creative poster, and actually looks pretty dull, but I like the fact that Randy Orton is on it. He was also on the poster for last year’s event, only back then it was called Fatal 4 Way. It’s a good thing they decided to drop that theme. I’m not really sure what the theme for Capitol Punishment is, but I have to admit that I like the name. Obviously, I’ve been a fan since the Attitude Era and this name really, really resonates with that timeline in WWE history. It reminds me of events like Fully Loaded, No Mercy, and St. Valentine’s Day Massacre.
Check out the poster in all it’s HQ glory by clicking the thumbnail below.

Download WWE Extreme Rules 2011 Wallpaper

WWE Extreme Rules 2011 "Complete Matchcard" Wallpaper
The Fallout Of WrestleMania Just Got…Extreme.
Well, somewhat extreme at least. I hate to say it but the only match that is brutal, bloody, and legit enough to be considered ‘extreme’ is the match with three ringside commentators and one mutant Kurt Angle-clone. And to top things off, the most vicious guy in the whole match happens to be good ol’ J.R!
I mean, the way Jim Ross turned into a grizzly bear a few weeks ago and almost tore down Michael “Sh*tbag” Cole’s ‘colemine’ was insane! Everyone’s favorite color-commentator went completely beserk and tried to demolish a man-made structure with his two bare hands. Epic. But the best part was during this past Raw when innocent-looking J.R popped a fist to Michael Cole’s mouth and did some kind of damage that saw Cole spewing blood all over the place for the rest of the match. JR proudly wore Cole’s filthy blood all over his knuckles…and even on his chubby cheek! Seriously, that was both awesome, insane, and terrifying at the same time!
Anyway, there’s a bunch of other matches in there that are worth noting. I’ll definitely be watching Randy Orton vs CM Punk, although I’m sure Punk will suffer a Punt to the skull which will keep him out of action for a while. If you read online rumors, you’ll know why this has a major chance of happening. I’m not really digging Cody Rhodes‘ “I’m ugly” gimmick, because he was never really good-looking to begin with, so it’s not like he lost something big. At least he’s not telling us how to shave our armpits anymore. To be honest the Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Championship is something I’ve been waiting to see for a while now. Unfortunately, if Christian gets the title, I’m going to know it’s because Edge was forced to retire due to injury. I hate it when WWE pulls off these sentimental wins. I mean Christian deserves it, no doubt, I just wish he could win it on his own, without it having to be the ‘default decision’.
Of course, there’s the WWE Championship match. Sorry for being cynical, but Icouldn’t care less about this rivalry. The feud between Morrison and Truth has turned more intense in one week, unlike the feud between Miz and Cena which is draggy and so, so boring. I’m sure the only reason Morrison is in the cage is so that someone can pin him, not because he can dazzle us all with his spinning top-rope flips that hardly ever do any damage to anyone. Anyway, enough of my grumbling. Download this brand new wallpaper featuring the beastly Jim Ross and the other almost-extreme superstars of WWE. ;)

Download WrestleMania 27 “Complete Matchcard” Wallpaper

WWE WrestleMania 27 Complete Matchcard
“This is WrestleMania! And folks, it don’t get no better than this.” – Jim Ross
Where Heroes Are Born, Legends Are Made, And Generations Collide! It’s been a long, chaotic, star-studded road, and we’re finally less than a week away from the 27th annual global sports-entertainment phenomenon, WrestleMania! Personally, I cannot wait. So many of my favorite WWE superstars have picked their spots at the event, more precisely many names that dominated the “Attitude Era” will be present at the show.
I have to admit that I’m marking-out at the fact that The Rock will be “hosting” the event. We all know he’s not just going to hold a mic and host. No, when it comes toThe Great One, he’s going to tear the house down and blow the roof off the stadium to the roaring ovation of 75,000 avid WWE fans in attendance at the Georgia Dome. The best thing to hope for at the event would be for either John Cena or The Rock to challenge the other to a match at next year’s WrestleMania, which will emanate from Miami. Mark my words, The Rock will return to the ring in a match, and it will happen sooner than you think.
I’m pretty hyped about Randy Orton’s feud with CM Punk. I’ll be rooting for Orton, because his “viper” character is pretty wicked, but I think it’s a safe bet that CM Punk will win this battle. He’s too damn smart to not have something planned already. Speaking of “vipers”, Orton isn’t the only “snake” set to be at the Grandest Stage. The Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin (Oh, Hell Yeah!) will be out to raise some hell, although he’ll just be refereeing, but at least we can hope for Michael Cole and Swagger to get their @sses Stunner-ed!  I’ve been waiting for more than a decade to see Cole get the crap bashed out of his f**kin’ annoying face, and we’ve seen how Jerry punched the jaw off Ted DiBiase’s face a few weeks ago, so lets just hope he brings that same energy to the table. I actually hate the fact that a superstar like Austin has to referee matches that involve people like Cole and Jack Swagger, but at least it means he’ll be at the show.
I was hoping Christian would be added to the World Heavyweight Championship match but I guess he’ll be at ringside or something. It’s a shame that Trish Stratus‘ rivalry with Lay-cool was not given a bigger spotlight. Here you have the Diva of The Decade taking on two very successful Divas of this decade, and all they did was have a brawl or two before Snooki got tossed into the mix. Seriously, I’m not a fan of celebrity matches at WrestleMania. I don’t see why these people get to walk in, pretend like they give a s**t about the event, beat WWE superstars and Divas who bust their a$$es week in and week out, and then just dissapear from the scene completely. It’s ridiculous.
And then we have the (re)match that has every WWE superstar, legend, and fan buzzing with pure excitement and anticipation. Triple H, the King Of Kings, has starred into the soulless eyes of the legendary Phenom, The Undertaker, and challenged him to a match at the Showcase of Immortals. And if Triple H gets to end ‘Taker’s unprecedented winning streak, he will indeed be immortalized as the only man to break the unbreakable. But if he fails…as Undertaker put it, he will become another number, a statistic on The Undertaker’s list of victims who he has defeated at the past WrestleMania’s. Either way, this could possibly be the end of an era for one of these iconic superstars. Either The Undertaker walks into his final sunset, or Triple H “dies trying” to do the impossible. It’ll be pure injustice if this match doesn’t end the show because you can be damn sure that both Triple H and The Undertaker will give their absolute best to deliver to us a match unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. They did it a decade ago, and they’ll do it all the better a decade later! I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw good ol’ HBK show-up to do some damage as well.
Here’s the complete matchcard wallpaper for the biggest stage in WWE’s landscape; a stage set for championships to be won, legends to be crowned, and for different generations to collide in the center of the ring amidst a sea of WWE fans. Grab your wallpapers and count down the days to the Grandest Stage of Them All!

Download Road to WrestleMania 27: Where Stars Align Wallpaper!

This week, we saw the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin (and JBL for a few minutes) and man, I must say I’m really proud to be a huge WWE fan nowadays. Even my peers are raving about this year’s WrestleMania season and how couldn’t they? Triple H, Undertaker, Trish Stratus, The Rock and now, Stone Cold Steve Austin in just a span of 1 month. Talk about laying all down the aces!

There have been ramblings around the net about how WWE Attitude era is owning WWE PG recently. Yes, I do wish that they eventually get rid of the PG programming but let’s be realistic here, do you guys really see WWE giving up the PG stuff anytime soon? As much as most adult fans want that, the future doesn’t look that way. After WrestleMania 27, most likely the Attitude era nostalgia will be gone again. Stone Cold and The Rock aren’t staying no matter what they say, Triple H is ready to relocate to the corporate ranks and Shawn Michaels is happily retired. The Undertaker has 1-2 years left in his body so he’s the only one who’ll probably stay from these veterans.

No one can deny how these guys have brought ratings up again these past few weeks and to see them feud with the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto del Rio, The Miz and CM Punk would be a total treat for everyone. The Rock-Cena-Miz angle has been gold already. How about Stone Cold mixing up with Randy Orton? Even adult fans won’t have anything bad to say about that. I say have them stay until SummerSlam! Just dreaming.

WWE Superstars of yesterday, specifically the Attitude era (Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin) and the WWE Superstars of today and tomorrow (John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk and The Miz).
