$99,999.00 Items on Sale at Amazon.com

Occasionally you see very expensive stuff being posted for sale on the internet. Probably you've heard of Serendipity 3's Grand Opulence ice cream. Priced at $1,000.00, the Grand Opulence is laced with an edible gold leaf, a gold spoon, all inside a crystal goblet. There's also this diamond and gold iPad 2 called the iPad 2 Gold History Edition that sells for $8,000,000.00. At that amount, you can buy two houses, a couple of cars, and lots of girls.

But what would you do if you see the most mundane of items being sold for $99,999.00? Well, Amazon just gave the world that privilege. Behold the three most expensive mundane stuff on sale at Amazon:

Whipped Cream

Lemon Squeezer

• Teapot with Infuser Basket

And I'm not kidding. These pages do exist. Just visit the links below before you shout "SHOOPED!":

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001MUJHKG?ie=UTF8&seller=A3L1V5JQWG240X&condition=new#?ie=UTF8&tag=mitogo05-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I21K18?ie=UTF8&seller=A3L1V5JQWG240X&sn=Forrest-Electronics
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002V23BG?ie=UTF8&seller=A3L1V5JQWG240X&sn=Forrest-Electronics

I dunno why exactly this happens, or if there's any reason behind it at all. One thing I'm sure of though: I can sell that piece of pencil lying around the house, unused of course, for $99,999.00 on Amazon. That ought to get some money rolling.

'Till my next installment.

P.S. Where's the electronics in teapots and lemon squeezers, huh Forrest-Electronics? You need to plug it in?

Other Potential Fads Aside From Planking

A couple of months ago, Westerners were pulling off planks here and there and have been posting them on social networks like Facebook to show off, brag, or simply just to ride the fadwagon. Lots of people around the world have caught up with the planking fad and its glamour is wearing off fast. Ask yourself now: What is the next planking? You might just find what you are looking for at this post.

Other Potential Fads Aside From Planking

Of course there's the potential successor of Planking, Owling.

Owling is essentially just squatting anywhere with both your hands down touching the area where your feet are. Remember to make a goofy face to provide extra authenticity, like the guy above, owling in a cubicle border.

And then there's Hawking, or in this case Stephen Hawking.

Yep, this dude right here is the world-renowned scientist Stephen Hawking doing the Hawking. This is probably the most expensive fad to do since it requires you to be in a freefalling state while bracing yourself together with a funny face. Specialized plane companies in the US offer the closest thing next to actual weightlessness in space by driving a plane up in the sky so high then nosediving the plane, plummeting to the ground as fast as it can. In theory though (and this would probably be cheaper), if an elevator in the Burj Dubai was to break off the steel ropes holding it in place, a person inside that elevator would experience temporary weightlessness, until succumbing to his or her death. Not that you want to do that anyway. Then again, Stephen Hawking is over 9,000.

Then there's this thing from the early 1900's which like Planking is getting some revival love from fad enthusiasts. It's called Horsemaning. I don't know why it's called the way it is, but it's simply making a body look headless with the head an arm's lenght away from the body.

Imagine, this thing was from the eras past. And to think that this was the time when the Ku Klux Klan rampaged in the US. On the other hand, Babe Ruth ruled the 1920s, so then it's all good.

To Horsemane, you need to grab a partner with a body similar to yours. Just let him sit or lie down in a chair or a table at an angle that will obscure his or her head, then you need to owl behind the said object. Successfully doing the fad would result to the picture given above.

Lastly, there's this fad that never goes out of style whichever time period you came from. Even animals are into this fad. Yep, this fad is called Sitting.

To successfully sit, you need a chair. Scratch the chair. You can sit anywhere. All you have to do is brace your buns and make it touch the floor, legs and feet folded accordingly as to accomodate your upper body in erect position. Like the guy in the picture above. Though this would probably suggest that you're forever alone.

Don't let me start on the worldwide phenomenon Standing and Walking. Everybody's doing these, and everybody's posting pictures of them Standing and Walking at Facebook in different locations. Ever heard of the Space Walk?

Random Funny Tweet Exchange

I dunno exactly what to call this, but I lol'd the moment I read it.

Remember Kelis? She's the African-American woman who sang the song "Milkshake" a number of years ago. Sure nobody remembers her, but her song's legacy is clearly still there.

Now, a dude with a good sense of humor tweeted Australia's official 2011 Census Twitter account a question. Hilarity then ensued: (Click image to enlarge)

No, really. I lol'd. Pretty old tweet, funny regardless.

If you didn't get the joke, just re-read Kelis' Milkshake song. Better yet, I'll save you the trouble. Here's Kelis' Milkshake music video courtesy of YouTube:

You'll get it soon enough. It's hard explaining jokes. Thanks to Reddit for this one though.

Old Spice "Mano a Mano" - Mustafah VS Fabio

I have been following a series of videos being released at YouTube by the Old Spice brand of deodorant about two dudes duking it off to the end on who's going to be the Old Spice mascot, the Old Spice Guy if I recall it correctly.

The funny African-American gym buff is Isaiah Mustafah while the long-haired blondie is—you might have seen him in porn flicks—Fabio.

The video below is their "Mano a Mano", the video where they both face off after a string of back and forth jab videos. Well you have to realize that all the jabs were scripted. So watch on below:

I'm a long time fan of the old Old Spice Guy (Isaiah Mustafah) and of course of the Old Spice brand. I use it everyday personally. But it's just quite sad that all the hype the Old Spice PR team build on their "Mano a Mano" promo didn't fetch as many views as I was expecting. 139,000+ views as of this writing? That's nothing. Peter Chao's videos regularly hit 350 to 400+ views.

Maybe this vid will pick up steam soon and go viral. And to think that Fabio even knocked on Reddit's door. If this promo tanks, he must feel like a dufus.

Splendiferous Barfing Cup

Admit it: You do some pretty crazy stuff when you are bored. Me, when I'm bored, normally I grab my handhelds, read Reddit or set fading newspapers ablaze in the garage.

Now, the following video you're about to see is the result of a man's boredom with his life i.e. he has plenty of time in his hands with nothing better to do. Frankly, I ROFL'd while watching this vid.

Without further ado, the Splendiferous Barfing Cup:

And they call me crazy.

I don't know if you can try this at your local 7-Eleven stores or at Mini-Stop branches, but I'll be damned if you can. Honestly if I did this here, I swear I would be shoved by the store's security personnel and get booted outside. Yes, soda is more valued here than a person's safety.

Yo Momma Harry Potter Jokes

It's been a great American tradition to say something negative about your friend's mother, hence the term Yo Momma. It's so popular MTV even made a show about people telling Yo Momma jokes. I don't know what happened to that show, maybe it got cancelled.

With respect to the last Harry Potter movie coming to cinemas worldwide this July 15, 2011, I found a screenshot's worth of Harry Potter Yo Momma jokes on Facebook. So if you're a huge Harry Potter fan, mess up your friend's Facebook account—or tweet to everyone you know—by posting Yo Momma jokes. Anyway, head to the section below for the good stuff:

Did you find the Yo Momma Harry Potter jokes above funny or offensive? Well, it's your call if ever you decide to use it or not. At least use it sparingly, or use it to someone who's game.

Anyway, my personal favorite from the above is "Yo momma so fat the Sorting Hat assigned her to the House of Pancakes!"

Nintendo 3DS – Messing Around With the AR Card

While it may be old news for 3DS owners and gaming fans, I just want other people to see how wonderful a machine the 3DS is. Aside from gaming, photos and the browsing, the Nintendo 3DS also offers 3D manipulation with the help of what Nintendo calls the AR card.

What the AR card does is set up a 3D image viewable via the 3DS screen. The 3DS camera recognises the card and, depending on your choice, could prop you up with a Nintendog, a giant man, or a dragon. This is to say that wherever you place your AR card, a 3D moving image will appear. These guys found it out the funny way:

Yep, that's right. That's one angry dragon rising up his pants. Next time he should put the AR card at his butt, see what happens.

Me being the gaming guy I am, I'm planning to purchase a Nintendo 3DS soon – and it's all because of this video. Ha! Maybe I'll do this neat trick too. Y'know, just to impress my gal. Anyway, there's lots of videos of other different stuff people did with their AR cards and Nintendo 3DSs. Just search for it on YouTube.

Middle East Angry Birds: "Three Big Pigs" YouTube Parody

The Middle East Angry Birds video below is just three days old and yet it already garnered 460,000+ views. It's about the toppling of Arab powers in the Middle East, depicted in a humorous light coupled with a catchy Disney tune.

Don't get me wrong though, war and death of people are in no way humorous, no sir. It is in fact unfortunate and sad. I guess the video maker just wants to put in light the events happening in the Middle East right now, and how crucial a role the United States of America plays in this crisis.

So without further ado, here's the Middle East Angry Birds: "Three Big Pigs" YouTube Parody:

Note: The Mighty Eagle represents the United States of America. And if you'll play through the credits, you'll actually see N.Korea's leader Kim Jong Il surrounded by nuclear weapons with the Mighty Eagle saying "I dunno guys, it's kinda scary," representing America's reluctance to dabble in North Korean affairs.

Personally I found the video hilarious, I mean the video itself. Not the war. This video has 6,000+ likes and 199 dislikes. You can say that I'm on the like side.

Anyway, what can you say about it?

Apple Inc. Releases Water

If you've been tuned in to the latest news, you would've known that Apple Inc. – makers of the world-famous iPod, iPhone, and iPad – have debuted a product in the beverages industry aptly called "Water."

What's Water you ask? Well, Water is, simply put, water (or H2O as some would say). Water is said to be "manufactured according to Apple CEO Steve Job's taste."

Ogle at the image below to know more about Water:

Personally, I wonder why Steve Jobs didn't call this the iWater or iLiquid. For more of the latest Apple news, visit Scoopertino.com.

And oh, you should know by now that this is not real. Gotcha! Haha!

Transportmers - The Philippine Version of Transformers

With the showing of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon in theaters soon, I just had to republish this one up – the Philippines' very own Autobot guardians, the Transportmers.

But what exactly are the Transportmers? Like I said, they are the Transformers mocked up for the Filipino taste. I dunno who took the time to make these models but boy do they look good. Oh, and by the way, these photos date back to December 2007 – a year in which no one seemingly noticed the Transportmers in the vast internet ocean. See, I did a search on it and only 7,770+ results came up. If it was otherwise, then the results page would've produced at least a good 50,000.

By the way, the maker also tagalized the respective groups of the robots: The Auto-Todas and the Decepti-Todas. Hah.

So anyway, and for your enjoyment and unadulterated laughter, I present thee the Philippines' own Transportmers!

Well, what can you say? These Transportmers pics are really rendered well. Kudos to whoever made these!

What is a Uumon?

Breaking news: Uumons and Bekimons have been spotted living in huge numbers in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is now considered as the second Uumon and Bekimon capital of the world, next only to the Philippines.

An Uumon, much like its relatives, the Bekimons and the Jejemons, is another variation of the ever-evolving Homo shungasis, a totally distinct species of Homo family that was recently identified at a 2010 expedition at the urban jungles of Metro Manila led by Russian scientist Mendelev Engotschkikov. While it is verifiable that the Homo shungasis evolves much more rapidly than their human relatives and is believed to be endemic only in the Philippines (although claims of it have been challenged by fellow Uuographers), it is still unknown why their ability to write and speak properly degrades at the same pace of their rapid evolution.

Uumons (Uumonsis Chinitis Morensis Magandasananensus Filiponensis) are diurnal beings, active from 5am to 1am local time. Uumons comprise of a majority 84% high school girls , 13% women ages 18-27, 2.5% cougars, and .5% Bekimons (which still up to today remains for debate).

Mendelev Engotschkikov cited observations between Uumons as compared Jejemons. He said that they are:

• Seen in massive numbers in Facebook, Friendster, Multiply, Formspring, Twitter, television chatroom channels and everywhere unlike Jejemons whose media penetration only reached Facebook and Friendster*;
• Growing at a moderate pace, unlike the Jejemons which have experienced a rapid population boom and then a sharp and drastic population decline;
• Almost, if not all, composed of females who has either nothing better to do or are just trying too hard to sound cute and young, which most of time time irks human males to the point of nervous breakdowns, sometimes even fatal infatuation (see: in-love).

*It is notable though that Jejemons have garnered much television media attention, unlike its predecessor the Bekimon, which enjoyed minimal air time

Origins

Uzbeki histographer and current Longest Name on Earth Guinness Record Holder as of 2010 Uktam Sunnat Seyfat Abdumalik Jamol Bakhrim Makshad Hashim Sherzanad Berdiyor Elmurod claims that Uumons and Bekimons were once close but separate species that were living together up to present in the country we know now as Uzbekistan.

Uktam Sunnat Seyfat Abdumalik Jamol Bakhrim Makshad Hashim Sherzanad Berdiyor Elmurod argues that Uumons and Bekimons lived side by side in present Uzbekistan and that the name Uzbekistan were derived from Bekistalanja and Uustekistan, the former independent state nations of the said species.

This claim has been vehemently condemned by the Philippine University of Public Utilities (PUPU) where Mendelev Engotschkikov and Juan dela Cruz are prominent members. They were noted saying that "the claims of Uktam Sunnat Seyfat Abdumalik Jamol Bakhrim Makshad Hashim Sherzanad Berdiyor Elmurod are nothing more than fantastical fiction to claim what has already been claimed." The tumultuous argument was presently put to a halt when President Noynoy Aquino stepped in to intervene, which is now historically known in France as The Interventiones Greates Aquino Sessiones 2010 (TIGAS 2010).

Identification

Unlike the other "mons" which one can distinguish by clothing preferences and overdone facial make-up, Uumons are almost utterly indistinguishable with their human counterparts. Humans and Uumons look similar in every aspect, be it their weekly habit, their food choices, their hangout places. Which brings Engotschkikov to conclude that all "mons" share a similar weakness - their inability to properly form legible and sensible sentences. Below are some of the words the Russian explorer has discovered during his journey in the Philippines:

Uu - means yes. May also mean feces. May also pertain to sounds produced by a toddler when defecating i.e. U-uuuuuu!. This word is where Mendelev Engotschkikov derived the name of the species;
Upu - a more respectful version of the word "uu"; used to say yes to older Uumons;
Uwan, Utu, Utree, Ufor, Upayb, Usiks, Useben, Ueyt, Unayn, Uten - The basic counting numbers of Uumons. Coincidentally, Uten (Ten in English) also pertains to testicles in Filipino;
Ungas - Uumons that look disturbing and scary

*It is strongly agreed upon by Uuologists (normal people that study Uumons) that some Uumon words have become jejemonized

Uumons have a far more superior brainpower than their Jejemon counterparts. The Uubrain weighs on average about 3 lb (1.5 kg) with a size (volume) of around 1130 cubic centimetres (cm3) in women and 1260 cm3 in Uumonized Bekimons, although there is substantial individual variation. This may be the reason why selected Uumons have reached such laudable academic statures in human society (see: College) while Jejemons seem only capable of finishing secondary (see: High school). Even with a brain size comparable to average human beings, it still baffles Uuientists (normal people that study Uumon sciences) on what causes Uumons to resort to using the Uubet, when in fact, they are slightly more intelligent than other "mons."

It was previously thought that the Jejemons were the first to "evolve" their eye colors to whatever color they want it to be through their extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and various internet programs. It was attributed to them by Filipino adventurer Juan dela Cruz. Presently, there are multitudes of evidence that this fact is indeed false. Mendelev Engotschkikov may have gathered enough proof to challenge this long established "fact."

Subclasses

As suggested by respected subclassist Lanilei Zabralta, Uumons could be divided into more subclasses in the near future to exact the identifications of Uumons exhibiting varying traits from the majority of the population. They are the:

Bebemons - Speech heavily relies on trying to "baby-fy" themselves. Examples of sentences used by this subclass are "Ansawap naman nitoeeeehhh" and "Patuwong naman pwease". They are not in anyway associated with Elmer Fudd and Tweety Bird. Always found on Facebook;

Nimons - Speech heavily distorts words with IN to NI. Examples of sentences used by this subclass are "Nikurot nya ko kanina" and "Niiinis sya ni Jana kahapon". It is to be noted however that NI-original words are not corrupted by the Nimons ex. Nilaspag doesn't become Inlaspag; Nilinis doesn't become Inlinis;

Kitmons and Lanmons - Speech involves corrupting the words "Bakit" and "Lang". This subclass has a text reply word rate of 1 corrupted word per text with the words always followed by a question mark "Kit" and "Lan".

Contemporary

At the same time of the Engotschkikov expedition, world reknowned Filipino adventurer Juan dela Cruz determined that Jejemon population have drastically been reduced, thanks to the continuing efforts of Gilberto Teodoro's JSE (Jejemon Specialty Education) and Grammar Nazis.

The Uumon Sais Triad

Although Jejemon eradication still pushes through and can be considered a major success, it is not the same story with Uumons. It seems that majority of Uumons, with their high attractiveness and heavy charm, are not as persecuted. Male humans and Grammar Nazis easily get infatuated and disabled by an Uumon's charm and beauty. In fact, many had fallen pray to the Uumon's easy going nature. This is observed through a group identified by the police as the Uumon Sais Triad.

The Uumon Sais Triad is a group of juvenile Uumons intent of captivating the hearts of male humans and Grammar Nazis so they can rule the Republic of Philippines. One of the six, identified only with the monicker "Liz" has been said to have already captured the heart of our President Benigno Simeon Aquino and that people fear another tyrannical takeover by this group, as per GMA 7 interviews (see: Project Noynoy).

Unlike other Uumons who bear no identification marks, one can identify members of the Uumon Sais Triad with the marks they bear on their foreheads, a circular tattoo with a central dot in the middle, long believed to be the symbol of Uumon ancestors. Professor Robert Langdon has associated it with the symbol of Venus.

It is said that you should say "Uuwi na pu aku padaan pu" in an audible manner whenever you encounter one of the six above. Be sure to pronounce the U's in the sentence prominently than the other letters. Witness accounts say that victims who didn't pronounce the U's in the sentence in a prominent manner suffered from fatal infatuation. Authorities are still seeking the capture and arrest of the Triad members. Each Triad member has a P10,000,000 bounty sponsored by the Philippine Government.

2010 - Present

Philippine Executive Secretary Jojo Ochoa is said to have been secretly planning the launching of the Uunism Act of 2011 which states that Uumons, like Jejemons, are a threat to society and its normal living conditions and that they need to be educated properly. The clauses of this act is said to have borrowed heavily from Gilberto Teodoro's JSE. It is unclear however whether Teodoro will support the Act since her wife is rumored to be an Uumon herself.

President Aquino, meanwhile, remains mum on the matter. He was seen at a private meeting at a hotel in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan with Uumon Sais Triad member "Liz".

----------

This is a work of fiction. It is not meant to disrespect anyone. It's sole purpose is for its fun and comedic value. For those who are offended by this article, apologies.

Besides the public figures mentioned above such as Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and Jojo Ochoa, the six girls in the picture of the Uumon Sais Triad have their identities protected in this post. I have barred their eyes and their nicknames and even monotoned the picture. Their pictures in the internet outside this blog are not my responsibility anymore as such is already publicly available for viewing.

Again, everything in this post, except the paragraphs after the line above, is made up and is pure fiction.

10/10/10 T-Shirt | U10 BB10 B10 T-Shirt

In connection with the rare three 10's event, or 10/10/10, I got myself a 10/10/10 tee, a spoof shirt to be exact. It reads "U10 BB10 B10" (uten bibiten biten) which in English literally translates to "a free-hanging penis." I was initially planning to wear this on the Pasig River Fun Run but I got up late this morning. Bought it from our neighbor for a measly PHP 110. I think I'll fetch rude stares if I donned this tee on the Pasig River Fun Run.

And even after 10/10/10 passes, I can still wear this tee around for its humor value. You can't make fun of 11/11/11 or 12/12/12. And man, you need to wait for October 10, 2110 to be able to make a fresh batch of these, which is a hundred years from now. That is, if the world won't end on December 21, 2012. Ha.

Five Chuck Norris Facts

I kept ROFLMAO'ing while reading this five facts I found on a certain forum post. It's all about Chuck Norris. Read on and don't spill that coffee:

1. Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits.
2. There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
3. The Great Wall of China was originally created to keep Chuck Norris out. It failed miserably.
4. There are four legal methods of execution in the United States: lethal injection, gas chamber, electric chair and Chuck Norris.
5. Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life there.
Haha! That was refreshing isn't it? If you didn't find that funny I dunno what would.
